How is it manufactured?

The dentist in any part of the world makes an impression of the prepared tooth and then sends it to a laboratory that owns the highly sophisticated Procera Forte Scanner.

At the Dr. Turners Dental Center the impression goes to their very own state of the art laboratory which has this scanner.

The lab then prepares the model of the prepared tooth and the Procera Forte Scanner scans and designs the coping (Crown which fits over the tooth).

The design is now sent via the internet modem to the Procera Production centre in Sweden where the coping (alumina or zirconia) is manufactured untouched by human hand and sent back to the lab within 4 working days via UPS. This narrows down the chances of human error to a minimum.

The lab then finishes the final layering and sends the finished restoration to the dentist within 7 working days.
